Hi, I received this email from a guy in India :-
I have 1 window air conditioner 24000btu
the condenser of a/c is damige and i need replace condenser but i dont have have same size condenser
origenal condenser is 120ft long pipe
and i have 90 ft long pipe condenser
origenal capillary 0.070 size and 41inc long
i need best cooling result what i do
note i need use capillary tube
dont use expention valv
am i right in thinking the condensor hes planning on changing to is insufficient for the unit!? i dont usually deal with questions like this... but my thinking is that because hes planning on using a capillary line as before but a smaller condensor this will throw all the pressures out because he wont get the same amount of heat exchange through the condensor coil!?
